The perfect addition to your dollhouse or room box! I designed this runner to be used in a 1:12th scale dollhouse or scene. It could be used for the stairs in your dollhouse or as a runner in the hallway and can be whatever length you choose. Inspiration for this runner came from my Sonja Rug.
Each of my patterns are hand-designed using computer software, NOT designed automatically by inputting a photo into a computer program. Designs can take several weeks to edit and tweak to my satisfaction.
On 40 count silk gauze, the runner would measure approximately: 1.38" (3.5 cm) wide by whatever length you determine and would be suitable for a 1/12 scale dollhouse project. It could also be adapted to a larger or smaller project if you wish. Simply divide the number of stitches in the pattern by the number of stitches per inch of your fabric to determine the size your project would turn out.
THE PATTERN IS A DIGITAL PATTERN ONLY, THERE IS NO PHYSICAL KIT, FLOSS OR FABRIC ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PATTERN. This pattern is suitable for someone at the experienced or intermediate level of stitching. The chart is available in both Color or Black and white, depending on how you prefer to read it. Regardless of the style of chart you choose, you will receive a pattern that is easy to read, including a picture of the digital version of the runner, along with instructions as seen in the photo of the example pattern in each listing.
Materials needed to complete the pattern:
Sorry, no returns or exchanges.
Please note: The pictures of the runner are digital representations of the finished product. They are deliberately blurry to help avoid unwanted copying of my pattern. There is a watermark on the photos that do not appear in the pattern. Colors on the computer may appear differently than the actual color of the finished article.

Materials needed to complete the pattern:
- Silk gauze – at least 2-4” larger than the stated size of the pattern. For example, if the pattern is 4” x 6”, your silk gauze should be a minimum of 6” x 8”, but ideally 8” x 10” in size for the count of gauze quoted in the pattern.
- DMC floss
- #28 Tapestry needle
- Frame – I use foam core for my frames. A tutorial for this named Mounting your Gauze and Beginning to Stitch may be found under Tutorials on my website: doublethefuncrafts.com
