Christmas is fast approaching, so I will be taking a break from stitching during the holiday season. The new year will bring a new rug project I will be stitching. The pattern is printed, the colors chosen and the silk gauze is mounted. It is one that I designed last year and the test stitching has been completed. Ever since I designed it, the rug has been calling to me and it will be my largest stitched rug to date. I will let you know more about it in the new year. Until then, I hope you all have a nice holiday season.

During my "catch-up" period in which I have been test stitching some of my pattern stash, I suddenly realized I had several tutorials I had yet to write. I had taken photos for the tutorials while finishing different projects, but have never gotten around to writing them. Therefore, I am also spending some time creating the tutorials and adding them to the site.
Yesterday, I uploaded my newest tutorial to our Tutorial section. You may find it here if interested: Tutorial #11 - Using Matboard for Smaller Projects
I am happy to announce that after several Christmas stockings stitched lately, I have created a tutorial for finishing a Christmas stocking. You may find this new tutorial here: Tutorial #10
