Nadareh, Progress 15

Next border complete! Last night I finished the border I have been working on and am now ready to start working another small border to match the other skinny ones I have already stitched.

This next border shouldn`t take too long and I can then begin my widest border in this rug. So far, touch wood, I haven`t been making as many mistakes as I was doing in the beginning. Hopefully, that trend will continue.

I am happy that with each section I complete, the remaining area is smaller and will feel like it doesn`t take as long to stitch. This rug has lots of design elements with very little background so I never have a chance to get too bored with it. Each new area

brings a new interesting design to stitch. I think I would definitely get bored if I had too much of the same design to stitch since this rug is so large. With a smaller rug I can finish before boredom shows itself. This one however is quite large and my estimate of 9 months to a year to finish is still holding true. If I had to stitch too much of the same thing, I could see this rug getting set aside for a more exciting project. Thank goodness that isn`t the case with the Nadareh!
