Shipping and Returns policy |
Shipping
All of the products that can be purchased on this website (other than Made To Order items) will be shipped out within 1-2 business days of the order. Exceptions will be if we are away on holiday for short periods, in which case we will post a banner on our Home Page stating this fact. You may still order a product, but it won't be filled until we return. We will send you an email notification when we have shipped your order. We cannot guarantee delivery times as they are subject to factors beyond our control. During the challenges of Covid-19 and the struggles that Canada Post is having getting mail into some countries, please allow at least 4 weeks from the date of shipping before contacting us if you have not received your order.
Shipping rates: Our rates are a flat rate applied based on the order total and the possible weights of the packages. These rates have been determined by actual quotes from Canada Post for each country. Rates are subject to change without notice.

US and International customers, please note:
Double the Fun Crafts does not collect any taxes, duties or charges that may be required by your respective countries. These charges are the buyer's responsibility and are normally collected by the delivering shipping company or when you pick the item up; do not confuse them with additional shipping charges. We follow International laws and are unable to mark merchandise as "gift" or "no commercial value". Please be familiar with the duties your country levies on imports. We have no control over those amounts and will not be held liable. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
Due to new packaging laws in Germany, we will no longer be shipping to Germany. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
UK Customers:
In order to comply with the VAT rules, we will be selling through Etsy. If you see an item you would like, please email us at [email protected] and we will create a custom listing for you in our Etsy shop. While we are conversing about this, we will put the listing on hold if there are limited quantities, so that it is not sold before you have a chance to decide.
Cancellation of order
If you have made a mistake or have changed your mind, your order may be cancelled within 4 hours of your order. Depending on your payment method, it may take a few days to see the refund. We will send you an email acknowledging your cancellation. If we have begun making your Made to Order item, it cannot be cancelled. Once your order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
Returns
The printed patterns available on this site are not returnable as by the very nature of them, they could be photocopied before returning them to us. For any items that you purchase through following a link to our Etsy Store, please see our shipping and returns policy when you visit our Etsy Store.
If, for any reason, you are not happy with any of the other items purchased from this site, they may be returned within 14 days of receipt of item. Before retuning the item, you must email us at [email protected] to discuss the return. We will send you the return address at that time. The item(s) must be returned packaged in the same style packaging as you received it. Once we receive the item back, we will refund your money. Return shipping will be at the customer's cost and we are not responsible for any items lost or stolen during their return.
Damaged items: if an item is damaged in transit before you receive it, please email us at [email protected] and send us a photo of the damaged item(s). We will do our very best to replace that item for you if we have another in stock. If not, we will offer an exchange or refund for any items other than a printed pattern. For a printed pattern, we will mail you another copy of the same pattern.
We do not accept returns or give exchanges on custom orders or digital items.

- All orders $49.99 and under will be shipped by regular mail via Canada post. Orders valued at over $49.99 Canadian will be shipped via "Expresspost", "Tracked packet - USA" or "Tracked Packet - International" (if available) to help ensure it reaches you. Since these orders will be tracked, the rate charged is higher. We researched all areas we ship to and set the flat rate based on the values we were quoted.
- *There are some countries to which tracked packages are not available at all or are available at a very high cost. Anyone from those countries will notice the shipping method will say "Small Packet Air International" during checkout. Orders being shipped "Small Packet Air International" will be at your own risk. We will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items. If you wish to have your item shipped by Tracked package, please email us at [email protected] to request it. We will obtain a Tracked shipping quote for you (if the option is available) and, if you agree, a private listing will be created for you with the cost of the shipping included. While we are conversing about this, we will put the listing on hold if there are limited quantities, so that it is not sold before you have a chance to decide.*
- When possible, we will combine orders to reduce shipping costs for you.
- If the shipping cost charged to you is higher than the actual cost, we will issue you a refund if greater than $1.00 Canadian.
- If the actual shipping cost is much higher than that charged to you, we may request an additional payment.
- Shipping of all printed charts will be in a plastic envelope to protect your order and sent by regular post through Canada Post.
