More about the Amanda Rug:
The inspiration for this pattern came from the Aubusson style rugs that were so prevalent in France and Europe in the 17th Century and would make a wonderful addition to your dollhouse project. To help coordinate your scene, I have also designed a cute little pillow that can be seen here.
Each of my patterns are hand-designed using computer software, NOT designed automatically by inputting a photo into a computer program. Designs can take several weeks to edit and tweak to my satisfaction.
On 40 count silk gauze, the rug would measure approximately: 4" x 6" (10 cm x 15.3 cm) and would be suitable for a 1/12 scale dollhouse project. It could also be adapted to a larger or smaller project if you wish. Simply divide the number of stitches in the pattern by the number of stitches per inch of your fabric to determine the size your project would turn out.
I have stitched this rug in the original color scheme and have attached some photos of the finished rug to the listing so that you may see how it could look if you stitch it. Colors on your screen may look slightly different from the true colors. The actual rug is not for sale in this listing, only the pattern for the rug.
THE PATTERN IS A DIGITAL PATTERN ONLY, THERE IS NO PHYSICAL KIT, FLOSS OR FABRIC ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PATTERN. This pattern is suitable for someone at the experienced or intermediate level of stitching. The chart is available in both Color or Black and white, depending on how you prefer to read it. Regardless of the style of chart you choose, you will receive a pattern that is easy to read, including a picture of the digital version of the rug, along with instructions as seen in the photo of the example pattern in each listing.
Sorry, no returns or exchanges.
Please note: Some of the pictures of the rug are digital representations of the finished product. They are deliberately blurry to help avoid unwanted copying of my pattern. There are watermarks on the photos that do not appear in the pattern. Colors on the computer may appear differently than the actual color of the finished article.
