The Fancy Ornamental Rectangle fire screen is a design by Yvette. When ordered it will be made to her exacting standards and created using your choices. Please see our video on the left which explains a bit more about her process.

Options available when ordering:
If you are choosing to paint your screen, I recommend you purchase the Basswood version. Basswood is perfect for miniatures as the grain does not show much and it stains or paints well, but if you are looking for a higher-end version, the Cherry is for you. The Cherry version sands much smoother than the basswood initially, but the basswood can be lightly sanded again after painting to remove any slight "fuzziness" of the wood before applying your last coat of paint. The Cherry version will be cut from Quarter-sawn Cherry in order to have the smallest grain possible and more fitting to a 1/12th scale item.
Screen Preparation time:
As each screen is not started until you order it, please allow 1-6 weeks (depending on the number of orders I am already working on) to complete your order. I will message you with an estimated time frame when you order, then again when I have actually started your order.
Shipping:
*Your screen will be mailed to you by tracked package (if available) to ensure it arrives safely. There are some notable exceptions, so please see our Shipping Policy for further information. Any local taxes\custom are to be paid by the buyer. *
Shipping cost has been determined by the value of the product.
