More about the Sonja 18 Count rug pattern
Not everyone wishes to stitch dollhouse rugs on the high count fabrics I usually design for, therefore I have adapted my Sonja rug to be stitched on 18 count. It would be suitable for a 1/24th scale rug if done on 40 count fabric and 1/12th scale if done on 18 or 22 count fabric. This adorable little rug was inspired by my Sonja Rug Pattern.
Each of my patterns are hand-designed using computer software, NOT designed automatically by inputting a photo into a computer program. Designs can take several weeks to edit and tweak to my satisfaction.
On 18 count fabric, the rug would measure approximately: 4 13/16" x 6 5/8" (12.2 cm x 16.8 cm) and would be suitable for a 1/12 scale dollhouse project. It could also be adapted to a larger or smaller project if you wish. Simply divide the number of stitches in the pattern by the number of stitches per inch of your fabric to determine the size your project would turn out.
THE PATTERN IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD ONLY, THERE IS NO PHYSICAL KIT, FLOSS OR FABRIC ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PATTERN. This pattern is suitable for someone at the experienced or intermediate level of stitching. Included in the pattern are a color version and a black and white version of the chart so that you can choose how you wish to print it. You can download both if you aren't sure which you prefer! The background color on the pattern has been removed so that it is easier to read and print (uses less printer ink). It features a pattern that is easy to read, along with instructions as seen in the listing photo of the example pattern. It comes in PDF format so a program that reads PDF files is needed on your computer.

- charted for DMC floss with conversions for Anchor if appropriate Anchor colors are available.
