This little pillow is a test stitching project to test the colors in a miniature setting and to test some of the elements I have included in the rug pattern. I wanted to try and achieve as much detail as I could but, as always with miniature, I had to simplify or remove some things in order to have a pleasing pattern. Colors that blend with each other are that way in the original rug.
This little pillow, named the Fargol Pillow is the result. The pattern is now available in our shop. You may find it by clicking on the name of the pillow. I am also testing some of the other elements in the rug, but these will not be incorporated into a pillow, they will just be randomly spread out over the canvas. Once my second test stitching is finished, I will decide on the parts to incorporate into the rug and make the pattern available. For now, I hope you enjoy this little pillow pattern.

Christmas is fast approaching, so I will be taking a break from stitching during the holiday season. The new year will bring a new rug project I will be stitching. The pattern is printed, the colors chosen and the silk gauze is mounted. It is one that I designed last year and the test stitching has been completed. Ever since I designed it, the rug has been calling to me and it will be my largest stitched rug to date. I will let you know more about it in the new year. Until then, I hope you all have a nice holiday season.
I have found that when working in the evenings stitching, it takes me approximately 5 days to finish a pillow. My next post will most likely be in 5-6 days as I have decided to finish working the Lucille pillows before I start another testing project. I have quite a few patterns left to test and I am continuing to work through them before I allow myself to get started on my next large rug.
That, of course, triggered a whole new set of patterns for each of my stockings that could have names! In the process of updating them online, I also added my Christmas Stocking 4. You may see it by clicking on the name, which will take you to the pattern.
element to be stitched with the moon being last. After stitching so many pillows lately, I am getting to be an expert at turning them after stitching the backing fabric on! The pattern for this delightful little pillow is now available in our shop by following this link: Halloween Pillow
