No Stitching progress this week

This week I have no stitching progress to show you, so I thought I would show you what I have been up to lately.  

I took the plunge and treated myself to a desktop CNC/Laser engraver!  I have wanted one for so long, it is nice to finally have one.

It took me over a week to learn the software in order to design and create the cutting you can see in the photo. 

​ This will be a piece of lattice that will go onto the Gazebo of the dollhouse I have built.  The dollhouse has this same lattice work on it, so I wanted some to match and incorporate into the Gazebo.  This is the first one I have made and I need to make 5 more for the project.  I am looking forward to designing and creating more miniatures.  Eventually, I may be able to put some for sale into my Etsy shop!

I have also been very busy inventorying and preparing some vintage furniture for my Etsy shop.  The four pieces below, I have finally gotten listed.  The one on the bottom left has been Hand-painted by artist (and daughter) Cheryl Waugh and turned out beautifully.  I am so proud of her!  You can see all of these pieces (while they last) in our Etsy shop if interested: Double the fun Crafts
