Outer Border

Greetings again. After completing a bit more work on our house, I was able to find some more time for stitching.

This time, since I only had two more borders to complete, I decided to work the outermost border first.  I did this so that I could reduce counting when working on the inner of the two last borders.  Working with only one color was also a bit of a change because I could just stitch and not have to keep threading a new color into my needle.  Some people like to have a needle threaded with each color and place them on a magnet that is on their frame close to where they are stitching.  I tried this but found it just as easy for me to use one needle and tuck my leftover, still attached thread, off to the side.

The outer border went fairly smoothly and now I can concentrate on the last border needed to finish this rug.  The end is in sight!
