Unpacking and Updating our Listings

This has been a very busy Spring and Summer for me.  My husband and I decided to downsize our country home and purchased a beautiful Victorian house in Listowel, Ontario.  We moved here in April but our other house did not close until July 31st so we spent every other day going back to our other house to pack up and do yardwork until the new owners took possession.  I am finally beginning to unpack and make this house our home and I am loving every second of it! I had a lot of fun creating my craft room in which I hope to spend a lot of time.  Here is part of it below featuring a sewing desk made by my Grandfather for my Grandmother. I had a lot of fun with the flowers behind the desk. 

While all of this was going on, I was also updating all of the listings for my rugs and pillow patterns.  I had an unfortunate experience earlier this year in where someone took one of the pictures I had posted on Pinterest, with a link to my website, and copied the pattern to stitch rather than buy the pattern. It was my own fault because the picture was so clear, but it brought home to me that I needed to change the pictures I was posting.  Therefore, I updated every listing and blurred each image slightly to try and prevent this from happening again. 
The person who copied my pattern purchased it after finding out that it was something that 

someone had spent a lot of time perfecting to create the pattern. I try to keep all of my patterns to a reasonable price so that everyone could afford to purchase them, but I do spend a lot of time working on them.  It is disheartening to find that people are willing to steal the pattern rather than spend a little to purchase the original for which I worked to hard to create.
I am very happy to say that all of my pattern photos have now been updated and I can get back to doing what I love most - creating new patterns and stitching.
Currently, I am stitching a second Katrianna rug because I have decided the first one will be offered for sale at the upcoming M.E.T. Show in Toronto this October and I really want one for myself. Speaking of the show, I am now turning my attention to getting ready for the show and hope to have lots of things ready to sell.  My daughter Heather is coming to help me at the show and we are very much looking forward to being there and meeting new and old friends there.
